The RKI GX-6000 photo-ionization detector (PID) is used in a wide variety of field investigations. 

The PID sensor measures total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs) and comes equipped with a library of over 600 VOC gases to choose from.  

The GX-6000 PID is available in two versions:
  • Parts per million (ppm), range: 0 - 4,000 ppm
  • Parts per billion (ppb), range: 0 - 40,000 ppb
Applications:
  • Total volatile organic compounds (TVOC) investigations
  • Indoor air quality (IAQ) investigations
  • Solvent and petroleum hydrocarbon impacted sites
  • Soil vapour & sub-slab investigations
